Chomping At The Bit

I was away for the weekend, so I didn’t have the opportunity to post anything. Also, I was busy for much of the day today and didn’t have the chance until now. However, I am excited and nervous about tomorrow. It is my first day at my new job, and I want it to go well.

What’s Next

To be honest, I haven’t given more thought to tutorials. However, I do know that I need to tackle displaying character stats. Also, I need to fix the bug where calculated stats don’t change when the player levels up. Beyond that, I don’t know what direction I want to take with the game. If you have any suggestions, please drop a comment on the blog and, I will do my best to fulfil any requests. However, I don’t know what that tutorial might be. It definitely won’t be until next weekend.

My Projects

So, I have been giving thought to my projects. I have decided to go with casual, arcade-style games rather than these massive creations I have attempted to undertake. They are just too much work for one person to do. Though I will be comfortable now, I still won’t be able to hire other developers. Also, I would ask a developer to work for free or for a slice of the profits. I have just seen too many of those scenarios fail.

Final Thoughts

I am very excited about tomorrow. I have primarily meetings tomorrow and no installed software to work on anything anyway.
