Big Meeting!

As the title says, I have a big meeting on Monday to discuss a prototype I’ve been working on. If it goes well, it will bring an editor from twenty-five years ago into the present. I’ve been working on finishing it. I still have a lot to go, but I’m confident I will finish before the meeting. What is left is loading a WYSIWYG editor. I have creating a form down. I have saving a form down. I’m in the process of getting loading a form back working. I’d be working on it now, but I need to step away and think about how to tackle a few things for loading.

What’s Next?

I mentioned the other day that I would work on an Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 tutorial revolving around combat, and that is what I’m going to do. So I did start on it. However, this meeting is important, so I had to stop.

My Projects

Right now, my project has to be this editor. It will mean so much to the company. I use the GUI-less flavour in my work, which is such a performance booster. So I can imagine what it will do for a less advanced user if it can do that for me. I feel, dare I say, proud of what I am doing.

Final Thoughts

What began as a personal project because I was unhappy with the tool I had to work with has morphed into something much bigger. I want the one client who is also dissatisfied with the existing tool to be wowed. Therefore, I am finishing this entry and returning to work on my editor. I will be back again tomorrow with another game programming adventure.
