New A Summoner’s Tale Tutorial! Part 0D

First, you must be wondering what the hell she is doing up at this ungodly hour. I honestly don’t know. But I will notch it up to insomnia. The good news is that I finished part thirteen of my A Summoner’s Tale tutorial series. This tutorial parallels Eyes of the Dragon in part eight. It updates the controls a bit and adds a form for selecting files. You can find the link to the tutorial on the A Summoner’s Page of my blog. Alternatively, you can access the tutorial with this direct link.

What’s Next?

So, I will bounce back to Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 for the next tutorial. I plan to add characters to the game, though I don’t know if I will add conversations. It will depend on how long the characters take. I would like to have that up today. However, it might not be until tomorrow. It is similar to what I have planned for A Summoner’s Tale that the following tutorial will add them to the game.

My Projects

So, today is screenshot Saturday on Twitter. I will post a screenshot or maybe a video of something new this weekend. Depending on how that goes, I may not get to a tutorial. The only question is if it will be from Shadow Monsters or Eyes of Inashti. Currently, I’m leaning toward the latter. We will see how it goes.

Final Thoughts

That’s twenty-one tutorials since I started back at it in December. That is an average of two a week. I’m feeling really good about that. Ideally, I’d like three, but two is acceptable. A lot of work is involved and having to work leaves little time to code and write. This should be a productive weekend. I wish you good luck with your game programming adventures.
