I worked like a madwoman on tutorial 48 in my MonoGame RPG tutorial series Eyes of the Dragon. I am pleased to say that the tutorial has been shared from my Google Drive. It continues with the combat engine allow the use of spells and talents. You can find the tutorial on my site’s Eyes of the Dragon page, or you can use this direct link.
What’s Next?
Honestly, I don’t know what is next for Eyes of the Dragon or tutorials in general. I will need to spend some time evaluating what to work on next. It likely won’t be until the weekend that I will find the time to work on something. If you have a suggestion on a topic, please leave a comment below, and I will try my best to write a worthy tutorial on the subject.
My Projects
I didn’t work on my projects today; I worked on tutorials instead. It is starting to look more and more that I won’t have the same about of time that I do now. My third interview went well, and I am onto what I hope is the final round. That is usually the toughest, I find. Nevertheless, I am hoping that I will do well and get the role. It will be nice to have that sort of consistency again.
Final Thoughts
It has been a productive week or so. I’ve gotten a lot accomplished in my tutorials. I’ve also had several interviews that have gone well enough to be on to the final round. I am starting to form a good plan for my projects but lacking the time required to execute them. Hopefully, I can find some time today and tomorrow to start putting those plans to use. So, please continue checking in on my blog for the latest news on my tutorials and other goodness.
Good luck with your game programming adventures.
