So, I’ve been swamped implementing my client’s change request. The good news is that I finished it last night. I’m just waiting for feedback from the client on the changes that I made. Hopefully, they are happy with the changes. My calendar is currently free, and I plan to spend some time on tutorials, more on that later. I am still feeling a little nauseous from getting the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday. I will be going easy today.
What’s Next?
Up next is the next installment in the Eyes of the Dragon tutorial series. This tutorial will focus on equipping items on the player character, well entities, because both characters and mobs can have equipment. I will be working on that tutorial over the next few days, depending on my client not coming back with more change requests.
My Projects
I will be working on Lost Fate as well as tutorials over the next few days. I’m still contemplating switching to using React on the front end of the web version. I also might do a web version then implement a mobile version in the future. Doing a mobile version makes sense, but it would be a lot of work to catch up to the web version. I should implement a mobile version because more than 50% of all internet users are on mobile devices. I want them to have the best experience possible.
Final Thoughts
It is nice not to have the change request hanging over me any longer. It was a lot of hard work, but I got it done. That leaves me free to work on other projects again. I will be focusing on Lost Fate. However, I will also be spending some time on Eyes of the Dragon as well. So, I encourage you to keep visiting the blog for the latest news on my tutorials and other goodness.
Good luck with your game programming adventures!
