I’m am so pleased to announce the release of Quintessential Duels on PC! With a few last-minute hiccups, I didn’t think that I was going to make my target date. I was able to resolve them all. The game is available at https://psibernetic-games.itch.io/quintessentila-duels.
What’s Next
So, with Quintessential Duels released on PC and being reviewed on Android, I can turn my attention back to the blog and tutorials. Also, my depression has truly broken this time. It’s been several days and no sign of it. I do have a contract that I need to work on but it is going well and I’m on track to finishing it. I have to work out a few details but they shouldn’t be a problem. As well as working on the contract I am going to do some tutorial work. I want to add shops to Eyes of the Dragon so that I can tackle equipping items.
My Projects
With Quintessential Duels finished, I will be turning my attention to Lost Fate. Lost Fate is also a collectible card game. It is closer to Magic The Gathering or Hearthstone though. It will offer PVP as well as PVE modes. Lost Fate will be a web based game built using psi.io on top of ReactJS. Depending on a few things I might try and build Android and iOS versions using React Native. It will depend on how hard it is to get the canvas tag to work in React Native.
Final Thoughts
Depression really kicked my ass the past month. It made it hard to think and be productive. I took the break from the blog so that I could focus on my deadline of April 15th. I am quite happy that I took the time. It was important and it did me a world of good. I am back to my old-self and ready to get back to tutorials. So, keep visiting the blog for the latest news on my tutorials.
