App Progress

So, I was busy yesterday working on the app for my client. It is progressing well. I am on target to finish the app ahead of schedule. The one thing I need to figure out is how I’m going to play videos. I see on the internet that there is a NuGet package that I can use that is cross-platform. It won’t be hard to make it work I think.

What’s Next

So, tutorials take a back seat yesterday because I was on a roll with the app. I’m thinking of take some time this afternoon to work on my latest tutorial. This tutorial will be about adding merchants to the game for the player to interact with. Because I have a lot of the code already it should be a pretty quick tutorial. Once that tutorial is finished I will move on to equipping items. After that, I will be moving on to the battle engine.

My Projects

Currently, my main focus has to be on the app. I have a limited time in which to finish it to keep the client happy. I also want to start work on Lost Fate. There is a lot of code that works that I want to migrate from ASP.NET MVC to React with a PHP back-end. I might stick with ASP.NET as a web API instead of MVC. Either way I am eager to get started. Quintessential Duels is still in review for Google Play. They state that it is taking longer than usual to review apps because of the pandemic.

Final Thoughts

It is good to be back to 100% again. My productivity and clarity are back and I want to work on code again. That is a big change from how things were even a week ago. It means I will be getting back to tutorials but still focusing mainly on the app that I’m creating. So, I encourage you to keep visiting the blog for the latest news on my tutorials and other goodness.
