Eyes of the Dragon and A Summoner’s Tale
I found copies of the PDFs of my old Eyes of the Dragon and A Summoner’s Tale series of tutorials. I’m going to add them to the site but it is going to take some work, there are 50+ of them. I might be able to rip and use the old code from Wayback Machine to make it easier. I should have them up by the end of the weekend,
Dragon’s Claw
I ended up busy this afternoon and did not have the opportunity to work on Dragon’s Claw like I had hoped. I might get some time in tonight but I won’t be finishing it tonight. The tutorial is about training troops and having the background server processing the queues. I use NodeJS to do that.
My Projects
I did work on Quintessential Duels this morning. Most of the bugs I found when porting to Android have been resolved. There are a few remaining that have been a problem tracking down. There are also a few things that I want to change. One of them is when dragging a card from the hand to the board on Android and it is that it is hard to see what you’re doing with your finger. I have a plan to resolve that and it shouldn’t take that much development effort. Triggering ads and switching back to the game works. I’ve tested on two emulators and two phones. I’d like to test on a tablet but I currently don’t have one and it wouldn’t be until after the lock down here that I will have one. Have a look at the alpha and let me know what you think.
Final Thoughts
Hopefully time will be kinder tomorrow and I will get to Dragon’s Claw. I also hope to get started on the pages for Eyes of the Dragon and A Summoner’s Tale. Finishing Quintessential Duels will be a big relief and I will be able to move back to Silver Prophet. Please keep coming back to the blog for the latest news and tutorials.
