MonoGame For The Absolute Beginner Three

MonoGame For The Absolute Beginner Three

Tutorial 3 in the MonoGame For The Absolute Beginner is now available on the site. This tutorial builds where the last tutorial left off and expands upon it by scaling and rotating the sprite. You can find the tutorial on the MonoGame Tutorials page of the site. You can use this direct link to download it.

I will be starting work on the next tutorial in the series this evening. I have a few ideas on what I will be covering. I’m not sure which topic I will cover first but I hope to have it up on the site tomorrow. Be sure and check back for that tutorial.

If you have a suggestion for a tutorial make sure and leave a comment. I love to hear from my readers and follow their suggestions. If there is something that you don’t understand then there are probably others that don’t as well. I am only guessing on what to write about and direction from my readers is invaluable. If you don’t want to leave a comment you can always drop me an email using the widget on the right.

Quintessential Duels

I will also be working on Quintessential Duels this evening. I hope to finish up a few of the work items on my list and maybe update the alpha with the changes. They include some graphics work and implementing the options window. I am also looking at some music and sounds though for a mini-game meant for Android it doesn’t really need sound, or options for that matter.

If you’ve played the game I would love to hear your thoughts, good, bad and ugly. I can only improve with feedback from my players! I know the numbers are a bit hard to read on some cards but it was like that with all colors that I chose. Yellow, with a slight black shadow, was the best option that I found for all cards.

The alpha version can be downloaded from Quintessential Duels Alpha.
