I have added a new page to the blog devoted to tutorials for creating clones of classic games. The first new tutorial is for Pong, one of the oldest video games. You can find the tutorial on the Classic Games page of the blog. Since it is also a classic, I added a link to Asteroids. The next game that I will be working on cloning is Space Invaders. I will be focusing my time on these clones rather than the series of tutorials devoted to creating much larger games, like Shadow Monsters and Eyes of the Dragon. Eventually I will start adding more tutorials to these series. It has been quite sometime since I’ve looked at them so I want time to familiarize myself with the code to see where I was and where I was going.
