It took longer than anticipated, but I have uploaded tutorial 16 in my Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 tutorial series. This tutorial continues where the last one left off, on encounters. You can now attack the bat, and the bat can swing back. You can find the link to the tutorial on my blog’s Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 page, or you can use this direct link.
What’s Next?
Currently, I plan to finish off encounters. That included mobs dealing damage, multiple mobs in an encounter, and moves moving around the map. Following that, I will bounce back to A Summoner’s Tale for a tutorial. For that one, I will be working on the map editor.
My Projects
I will only say that it has been some time since I’ve worked on my projects. I hope to get back to it tomorrow. It is a Friday Night Magic night, though, and I would like to attend that. The only problem is I only have a reconstructed deck, and compared to what I played last week, it is incredibly weak and not much fun. I need to buy some cards to finish one of the two decks I’m trying to build, or maybe both, lol.
Distractions
I’ve had a lot of distractions lately. I’ve decided that, for the most part, they are not worth my time. The only exception is Magic: The Gathering because that is very interactive, and I live a very sheltered life. There are, of course, other things, but development and tutorials will take a more active part in my life.
I will be back tomorrow with another episode of Game Programming Adventures.
