I have just uploaded the newest tutorial in my Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 series. I promised that this game would be cross-platform, and I meant it! So I add an Android project to the solution and have the game running on Windows, macOS, and now Android. You can find the tutorial on my website’s Eyes of the Dragon 4.0 page. You can find it through this direct link as well.
What’s Next?
I am thinking of adding Android to A Summoner’s Tale next. I have all the components in place, and adding Android now makes sense. The other alternative would be to continue with Eyes of the Dragon 4.0. I might wait a few days and see what moves me more. It might not be a few days before I start, but I might do it now. I will see what the evening brings.
My Projects
I might do with Shadow Monsters what I’ve done with Eyes of the Dragon. I might take the plunge and start adding other platforms. I know it works on Windows and macOS. I haven’t tried Android yet. That would be a good project for the next few days while I think about where to go with tutorials.
Final Thoughts
December and January have been explosive months regarding tutorials and my projects. I’ve written fourteen tutorials and made many contributions to Git Hub. I’ve said it before. It has energized me. I don’t know why I put it off so much. Well, I know why but I shouldn’t have let it stop me from developing. I hope that your development experience not only rivals but exceeds mine.
Good luck with your game programming adventures.
