So, I didn’t do any work on tutorials today. I also didn’t do any work on my projects. What I did do is buy a new laptop that I’m absolutely in love with. It has 4 times the processing power as my old laptop. It only has twice the graphics capability but I’ll take it. The WiFi and SSD is are so much faster as well. It will take a while to get used to the new keyboard, always does.

Also, I will be unpacking my desktop soon. It is close to this laptop but with a far superior graphics card. It also has twice the memory and twice as many threads available.

What’s Next

Well, next is tutorial 36 and 37 in the MonoGame RPG tutorial series Eyes of the Dragon. I’ve mostly got me new system configured and should be able to start work on tutorials tomorrow. After that I think I’m going to look at doing a web tutorial or two. When I get back to Eyes of the Dragon I will work on adding another type of NPC, a shopkeeper, that the player can buy items from. Following that, I will be working on equipping items.

My Projects

I will also be working on Quintessential Duels. A lot of what I have left to do is graphics work. That, and updating the tutorial. I want to make it interactive rather than passive. It would be a matter of having set decks with set orders and playing cards in the precise spots. It shouldn’t be too hard to pull off.

Final Thoughts
