Instead, I&#8217;ve been on an emotional roller coaster ride over the role that I am a candidate for, and I have had errands that needed to be run. In addition, I was supposed to have an interview tomorrow. However, that interview has been cancelled and instead, I have a meeting with the talent acquisition person and the director I had my second interview with. I thought that things were going so well. But, it feels like there didn&#8217;t, and they are going to let me down gracefully. There is still a part of me that hopes I will get the role. However, I am preparing myself for not getting it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s Next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Tomorrow I work at a part-time gig that I picked up, so I won&#8217;t be working on a tutorial. The same is true for Friday; I am working that job. I will be working on a tutorial on the weekend, though. I will be continuing with fighting mobs. There are a few improvements that I need to make that I have discovered playtesting the game. Spells and talents work. However, they are persistent after first used. I need to make them dismissable after the first use. It is not a big improvement, but it is a necessary one. Also, I need to determine how I am going to handle gaining experience and levelling up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I haven&#8217;t worked on my projects either. This roller coaster of emotions has me pretty drained and not wanting to work on anything. When I do get back to my project, they will be focused on Silver Prophet. It is in a similar state as Eyes of the Dragon. It is just a bit more polished, and the combat works a lot differently. It takes place on a battle map where an entity takes action every so often. For the player, you need to click their icon and select their action. Then, a party member chooses their own action. It works pretty well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is still room for improvement. What I am thinking of is allowing the player to pause the timer and queue actions. Otherwise, the computer queues actions. There is also a formation where the character attacks whatever is across from them on their row; if there is nothing on their row, control flows to the next row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I couldn&#8217;t work on a tutorial today, though I wanted to. I&#8217;m just so mentally drained. Also, I didn&#8217;t want to write this entry. However, I am making an effort to post regardless. I don&#8217;t want to ghost you again. I want to let you know that I plan to work on things when I don&#8217;t have the time or energy.
