So, I got my COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday. Since then, I’ve been having so many physical issues. Because of it, I haven’t worked much on anything. I haven’t made much progress on my project either, more and both of those later. I want to ask you, my readers, what you’d like me to work on the most. Do you want me to work on Eyes of the Dragon, Shadow Monsters, HTML5, or some other topic? I will be creating a poll, and I hope you will vote on what you want me to work on. It will give me a better idea of what you want me to focus on. After all, I’m writing these tutorials for you. I don’t want to waste my time and electrons writing tutorials that nobody wants to read.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What’s Next?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t really work on Eyes of the Dragon. I’ve been busy with Lost Fate and with my app for my client. When I get back to my MonoGame RPG tutorials, I will be working on equipping items. As I’ve mentioned, I won’t be equipping items on the player directly. After this tutorial, I will be starting work on the battle engine. It will be a turn-based I hit you; you hit me back system. I was going to go with a party-based game. Instead, I’m going to keep it single-player.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Projects<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well, I did work on the app I’m working on for a client. I’m waiting for feedback on the latest changes. Also, I am waiting on some content that needs to be added to the app. I also worked on Lost Fate a bit. I was focusing on the deck builder, which is vital for a collectible card game. It is working the way that I want it to. I haven’t started converting to working with an API instead of MVC. It wouldn’t be hard, though. Returning JSON results instead of a Razor view when the action on the controller is called is all I would have to do. Then, I would parse the results in React.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The vaccine has really thrown me for a loop. At times I think it would have been better to get COVID-19 and deal with that. In either case, I would supposedly be immune to the virus. It has thrown me for such a loop that I’m not productive at all. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day, and I will get back into rhythm.
